SUMMARY:9th Annual USC Spine Symposium
DESCRIPTION:The USC Spine Symposium aims to provide information and educati
 on on the management of spinal disorders to clinical practitioners and res
 earchers. The program is an all-day event with didactic lectures\, group d
 iscussions and question and answer sessions with participants. Topics cove
 red include the natural history of various spinal disorders\, the diagnost
 ics workup and imaging of spinal diseases\, and medical and surgical treat
 ment of commonly encountered spinal diseases in the clinical setting.\nBy 
 the end of the course\, participants will be able to:\n\n\n 	Identify appr
 opriate workup\, diagnostic options and imaging modalities for cervical\, 
 thoracic and lumbar spinal disorders.\n 	Examine non-surgical management a
 nd medical treatment options for spinal diseases including advanced interv
 entional techniques.\n 	Assess the data and efficacy of surgical treatment
  of various spinal disorders.\n 	Examine complex surgical case management 
 including intraoperative neuromonitoring\, intraoperative imaging and anes
 thetic management.\n
